Testimonials from schools Helen has worked with:

Helen has worked with us to support staff in enhancing their practice. She has provided advice, guidance, and practical strategies to help staff to provide a challenging and engaging curriculum for our Key Stage 1 pupils. After working with Helen, staff felt inspired to try new ideas and were able to implement the practical advice they were given straight away. Staff thoroughly enjoyed working with Helen in the supportive environment she created and learned a huge amount from her extensive subject knowledge. As a senior leader, I could see the immediate impact of the work that had been undertaken. We look forward to the opportunity to work with Helen again.
Mrs Rayner, Deputy Head teacher, Weaverham Forest Primary School, Cheshire.

The bespoke training provided to our school by Eaton Education Consultancy was excellent.  Helen met with our mathematics coordinator to find out how she could support us in improving mathematics at our school and then delivered two staff meetings that targeted our key areas of mental maths and the application of maths skills. She inspired staff to go back to the classroom and immediately put into practice the teaching strategies she had shared with them. It was great to have someone who knows what it is like to be working in the madness that is a primary school. As a result, the strategies and activities she provided were practical and easy to apply in a busy classroom setting. All members of staff found the training beneficial and the results can be seen in our numeracy lessons.
Miss Reid, Assistant Head, Meadow Primary School, Cheshire.

The twilight sessions Helen led at our school were brilliant! The sessions were well-paced and gave one great practical idea after another. I could see all activities working extremely well across key stages and they could be easily adapted to suit all abilities. Helen showed us loads of ‘applying’ ideas, and linked maths easily to real-life examples. The sessions not only refreshed my enthusiasm for teaching maths, but made planning easier. Since the twilights, I have incorporated the activities easily into my weekly plans. The children have loved the activities and been engaged and excited about maths. It has also saved me hours of trawling the internet, looking for interesting and effective activities. It is great to leave a staff meeting feeling like your workload has been reduced! Thanks Helen.
