Helen’s Background and Current Work
Helen Eaton (nee Kippin) is an independent education consultant working with primary schools across the UK, as well as lecturing the next generation of teachers at the University of Chester. Helen has a breadth of teaching experience across a range of leadership roles within a wide context of schools.
Prior to becoming a self-employed consultant Helen has been a ‘Leading Year 2′ and a ‘Leading Interactive Whiteboard’ teacher and was involved in the moderation of Key Stage One SATs for two consecutive years for Cheshire West and Chester Council (CWaC).
In addition to attaining her National Professional Qualification for Headship, in 2009, Helen joined CWaC’s Primary Mathematics Consultants team on secondment, to train and support teachers across Cheshire West and Chester.
In 2014 Helen set up her own independent business, Eaton Education Consultancy Limited, working with other Associate Consultants and specialists in Literacy, Mathematics and the Arts.
Helen is a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Chester and is also an Associate Consultant for ECM Education Consultants, a large company supporting schools in four local authorities as well as public, private and academy schools across the wider UK.
